Pine Grove Comm. Water Assoc. Conducts Testing for Organic Compounds

Pine Grove Community Water Association (PGCWA) is required by the State of South Dakota and the USEPA to test for a variety of approximately 85 individual organic compounds on a three-year rotation (once in a 3 year cycle); 2025 was that year. This year, the system tested for volatile organic compounds (VOC), synthetic organic compounds (SOC), and Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS - "forever chemicals"). All of the test results were "ND" (not detected) for all of the compounds tested.
